How long a website takes
A Website Refresh usually takes two to three weeks. A Business Website typically takes four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. Advanced and platform-level builds are scoped individually and usually run eight weeks or more. The biggest variable is how quickly content and feedback come back.

A 30-minute call to understand your goals, content and constraints, followed by a fixed quote for an agreed scope. Usually within a week.

Design
Wireframes, then designed key pages for your review. One to two weeks, with up to two rounds of revisions included.

Build
Development, CMS setup and content entry. Two to five weeks depending on tier, with a staging link you can review throughout.

Testing and launch
Cross-device testing, performance and SEO checks, DNS and go-live, then handover training. Typically one week.

A complete build or redesign of 5 to 10 pages: custom design rather than a template, responsive layouts, WordPress (or Astro where it suits) set up so you can edit content yourself, performance optimisation, SEO foundations such as metadata, page structure, sitemap and schema, cross-device testing, and handover training or documentation. Domain, hosting and ongoing maintenance are quoted separately.

Do you offer fixed pricing?
Yes. After a discovery call we send a fixed quote for an agreed scope. If the scope changes mid-project, we quote the change before doing the work, so there are no surprise invoices.
Which platform will my website be built on?
WordPress for most business websites, because it is easy for your team to manage. Astro for content-heavy or performance-critical sites. Headless CMS setups such as Sanity or Statamic when editors need structured content across multiple channels. Laravel when the project is really a custom application rather than a website.
Who owns the website once it is built?
You do. The code, content, domain and hosting accounts are in your name, and you receive full access and documentation at handover. There is no lock-in; you are free to take the site to another developer at any time.
