Hey, I'm Anton. I'm the engineer behind vCore Digital.
I'm the Founder & Head of Engineering here, and I'm the one who scopes, codes and supports every website we build or maintain. You get 20+ years of production engineering applied directly to your project, not a brief handed down an agency chain.
I've built enterprise web platforms, publishing systems, large-scale migrations and AI-native products.
The same standard I brought to Microsoft and TechCrunch projects, scaled down to a single business website.

- 2022 – now
Founder & Head of Engineering, vCore Digital
I started vCore Digital in Brisbane to build and maintain WordPress, Astro, headless CMS and Laravel websites for Australian and international businesses. I scope, code and support every project myself.

Engineering Contractor, The Code Company / Reaktiv
Alongside vCore, I do publishing-platform work for Australian and US clients, including MS NOW and Memberful. PHP, TypeScript, React, Gutenberg, custom plugins and REST APIs.

Lead Web Engineer, Fueled / 10up
I was headhunted for enterprise web and large-scale migrations as an approved vendor to Microsoft and Yahoo. I worked on the Microsoft Security, Education and Cloud blogs (to name a few), built a content-automation platform on WordPress and Azure Queues, and led the TechCrunch migration of 15,000+ videos to YouTube.
- 2017 – 2022
Lead Developer, then Head of Development, WPMU DEV
I led Smush and Hummingbird (1M+ and 100K+ active installs, 65M+ downloads combined), then a team of 25+ engineers and SREs. I introduced Agile across the engineering teams, trained the product owners, and cut release cycles from up to 12 months to 4 weeks.

Technical specialist to Head of IT
I started in 2004 at Rambler Telecom, then Diebold. I built my first development team in 2009 and ran IT departments, $1M+ budgets and ISO 27001 programs before going back to full-time engineering.

vCore Digital Pty Ltd is my Australian company, registered in Brisbane, Queensland, since 2022 (ABN 76 662 088 075). It continues the client work I've delivered since building my first development team in 2009. You work directly with me on scoping, development and support, and I bring in specialist contractors for design and content when a project calls for it.
